The Bottom Line

The EPOMAKER x Aula F75 MAX keyboard offers a unique combination of a gasket-mount design with five layers of dampening for a quiet typing experience, and factory-lubricated switches that eliminate the need for DIY maintenance. This keyboard is best suited for typists who value a comfortable and quiet typing experience, but may be disappointed by the absence of silent switch options and the use of ABS plastic for the case. With a 4000 mAh battery, it can last between 30 to 80 hours, making it a solid choice for those who want a durable and long-lasting keyboard.

Our Analysis

The EPOMAKER x Aula F75 MAX offers a solid typing experience at a budget-friendly price, making it an appealing choice for those who value performance without breaking the bank. What we found most impressive is its gasket-mount design with five layers of dampening, which contributes to a comfortable typing feel. A majority of reviewers noted the factory-lubricated switches, eliminating the need for any DIY maintenance, and the convenient volume knob with a mute function is a thoughtful addition. The 4000mAh battery promises a substantial 30-80 hours of use, a significant advantage for those on the go. However, it's not without its drawbacks. The case, constructed from ABS plastic only, and the lack of silent switch options, might be a deal-breaker for some users.

The EPOMAKER x AULA F75 Max builds upon its predecessor with a dedicated volume knob and smart TFT display for GIF customization and connectivity monitoring. The 75% layout remains compact at 32.8×14.3×4.4cm and 0.96kg, featuring solid build quality with minimal chassis flex. The Black OEM variant with grey side-printed keycaps suits both gaming and professional environments. Packaging impresses with cyberpunk-themed design and organized accessory compartments. The magnetic receiver storage, mode switch, and two-stage adjustable feet add practical functionality. The display integration avoids feeling gimmicky while enhancing backlight customization interactivity.

The EPOMAKER x Aula F75 MAX is a budget-friendly 75% mechanical keyboard with premium features. It offers triple connectivity (wired, 2.4G, Bluetooth), hot-swappable PCB, gasket-mount structure with 5 dampening layers, and a 0.85" display. The ABS case feels superior to typical plastic keyboards, weighing nearly 1kg for added stability. It comes with PBT keycaps in unique color themes and LEOBOG Reaper linear switches. A dedicated Caps Lock indicator light sits directly on the case. The display shows system info and GIFs but suffers from dim viewing angles. The rotary encoder provides tactile, audible feedback per notch.

The Aula F75 Max delivers excellent typing fundamentals with well-lubed switches, perfect stock stabilizers, and satisfying acoustics. Its sleek design pairs nicely with side-lit keycaps and vibrant RGB. However, the marquee features—an undersized dim screen and loose volume knob—are poorly implemented and actively detract from usability. After three days of testing, it emerges as a competent budget keyboard undermined by its own attempted upgrades. Build quality and wireless performance remain solid, but the lack of polish around secondary features prevents it from being a clear recommendation over competitors.

  • Well-lubed switches sound excellent out of the box
  • Stock stabilizers are essentially perfect
  • Sleek design complements side-lit keycaps nicely
  • Vibrant RGB lighting looks impressive
Cons
  • Screen is too small and dim to be useful
  • Screen scratches extremely easily
  • Volume knob is too loose and wobbly
  • Can't adjust volume directly using the knob

Great Keyboard for the Price

Charles E. March 6, 2026
This keyboard feels great right out of the box. It has lubed switches that are nice and smooth as soon as you get it out. The RGB lighting effects are really nice and you can use the knob and screen to change them without having to get into any software. It has solid weight to it that makes it feel premium. Very easy to get it connected just plug it in for wired mode or use the dongle for wifi connection or pair it for bluetooth so it will work on many different devices. The screen is a nice touch to upload gifs and have some style on your keyboard. This sound of the keyboard is very satisfying and the switches are very smooth.

Aula X75 Max

The Aula X75 Max is an impressive keyboard that punches well above its price point. The switches feel buttery smooth with satisfying, clean clicks that make both typing and gaming a pleasure. There’s no harsh rattle here—everything feels well-tuned and solid right out of the box.The RGB lighting is bright, vibrant, and evenly distributed, with plenty of effects to choose from. It really pops without looking washed out or cheap. The keyboard also has a nice, substantial weight to it, so it stays firmly planted on the desk and feels durable and premium.A big plus is the accompanying software. The app is easy to use and offers solid customization for key mapping, macros, and RGB settings without feeling bloated or confusing. Setup is quick and painless, even for someone new to keyboard software.Overall, the Aula X75 Max is a fantastic all-around mechanical keyboard—smooth typing, great lighting, sturdy build, and good software support. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality without overspending.

Crispy Outside, Creamy Inside — The Keyboard Croissant! 🥐

Jonathon July 20, 2025
Setup & First Impressions 💻Connected seamlessly to my MacBook, Mac Mini, and two external monitors without any driver nonsense. The TFT screen shows useful info like battery life and which device you’re connected to — not just pointless eye candy. The Creamy Thock Revolution 🎧These factory-lubed linear switches are absolute perfection. Deep, creamy thock that sounds expensive without being obnoxiously loud. The gasket mount gives it this premium bounce that makes every keystroke feel intentional. I found myself typing random sentences just to hear that satisfying sound — my Slack messages have never been so verbose.Ergonomic Reality Check 🧘‍♂️The Cherry profile and low-profile design eliminated wrist strain I didn’t even know I had — this thing actually makes typing comfortable. The volume knob is surprisingly addictive — no more fumbling for media keys like an amateur. The Typing Test ⌨️Decided to test this beauty properly. Fired up a monkeytype… see video for conclusion.107 WPM, First attempt. The smooth, pre-lubed switches genuinely helped — less finger fatigue, better flow. “Ooooo” indeed!Bottom Line: 5/5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The F75 MAX transformed routine typing into something actually enjoyable. Hot-swappable switches, multiple connectivity modes, and that creamy thock make it worth every penny. For the price it’s hard to beat!✅ Recommended for: Anyone who types more than emails and appreciates quality❌ Skip if: You’re somehow satisfied with mushc

Great keyboard with many options

Matt L November 21, 2025
Outstanding keyboard with multiple connection options. The keys have a nice feel to them, providing good feedback with a nice sound which will not bother anyone in the area. The keyboard has a nice weight to it keeping it in place on a sliding keyboard drawer. The lighting options and key programmability are nice pluses, along with the wheel and small screen, but what makes this keyboard great is the solid functionality.I did find the lack of a dedicated ‘Home’ key surprising, and using the wheel to control speaker volume requires pressing on it first, but these are very minor compared to the solid performance. The keyboard also looks good and seems very sturdy and dependable.Recommended and a good value, I like this more than the options from well-known premium brands.

The screen

K. Benli November 28, 2025
The weight, quality, sound are great. The little screen that comes with the max model is pretty useless, stick with the lesser model. You can’t make it default to volume even though thats the only useful one, the rest of features you can change in the software. The rgb light is nice and as bright as you want it to be. The wireless mode is good, no noticeable latency but that little screen ugh resets everytime it goes to sleep.

The Verdict

The EPOMAKER x Aula F75 MAX punches well above its price with factory-lubed switches, a gasket mount, and a TFT screen that most boards at this tier don't offer. Skip it if you need silent switches or plan to mod the internals, but for wireless typists and desk setup enthusiasts who want a lot of keyboard for the money, it's a strong buy.
